District Congress Committee welcomes, hails his appointment as new President

Srinagar August 08 (KNO) : The District Congress Committee (DCC) Srinagar today organized a rousing reception to newly appointed District President Irfan Naqib (AICC Member) and welcomed him at Congress Party Headquarters, Srinagar in which Senior party Leaders, Block President and Prominent Party activists from all the block were present felicitating Naqib on being appointed as new DCC President.

In an extraordinary function organized to give rousing reception to newly appointed District President Irfan Naqib, the outgoing district President Abdul Gani and other Senior Leaders received Naqib at Party HQ giving standing ovation to Naqib who is also an All India Congress Committee Member. Congress Leaders hailed the decision of All India Congress Committee of appointing a young and dynamic leader as District President and pledged to ensure full support in his endeavor to strengthen the Party in District Srinagar.

Speaking on the occasion the outgoing District President Abdul Gani Khan told the Party workers that he will continue to work to strengthen the Party and assured Irfan Naqib of his full support. Addressing the meeting Irfan Naqib expressed his gratitude to Party High Command for his appointment as District President of Srinagar, assuring that he will continue to remain committed to the cause of serving and strengthening the party from grass root level.
